Search for the ‘Best British Butler’

A NEW British-made confectionery company is launching a nationwide search this year (July until November, 2010) to find Britain’s best butler.

The chocolate biscuit and wafer bar firm, which is also called British Butler and is based in Bristol, is keen to celebrate one of the nation’s oldest traditions – butlering.

Director, Peter Howarth explained: “British Butler products are a new generation of chocolate bars that maintain traditional British values.

“Butlers have been around for eons and they are the archetypal symbol of bygone Britain, but they are also coming back into fashion with lots of organisations offering butler services.

“We have a reputation for diligence and quality. The competition winner will need to exhibit these qualities too.”

People are invited to nominate butlers for the title of Best British Butler via www.BritishButler.co.uk from now until November 13.

Peter added: “We will select regional winners from all the entries in November and declare a national winner in January, 2011. The judges’ decision will be final and I’m afraid we can’t enter into any correspondence.”

The winners from each region will be put forward to be declared the national winner.

The regional winners will all receive an award, a box of British Butler bars and be invited to a presentation and photo shoot.

The national winner will receive an award, a year’s supply of British Butler bars and be invited to a presentation and photo shoot. They will all also be expected to take part in associated publicity.

The British Butler range is British-owned and manufactured wholly in the UK.
