Porcupine PR is looking for a further four individuals to start work as Trainee PR Consultants.
The role includes producing draft media releases under the guidance of the MD and senior PR team, liaising with clients and the media, helping create newsletters and arranging events.
Candidates are required to have a good general education to a minimum of three ‘A’ Levels at grade C or above. A degree and/or work experience in a related field is desirable. Applicants must also have a working knowledge of IT and Microsoft software (Word and Excel).
Skills and attributes required include excellent verbal and written communication skills, a flexible approach, an ability to work to deadlines, good project management skills, confidence, creativity and a willingness to learn.
Full training will be given to the successful applicants including the opportunity to gain National Council for the Training of Journalist (NCTJ) qualifications.
A driving licence is essential.
Starting salary circa £12,000 per annum plus fully expensed training support for NCTJ preliminary examinations. Pay progression based on personal performance and experience.
