Collectively the Porcupine PR team has more than 60 years' experience in the communications, public relations, marketing and media industries.
All team members either have experience of working in the media and/or have or are undertaking training with the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), the UK’s most respected and widely used training scheme for journalists.
The company was founded by former Guardian Media Group Senior Journalist, Rachel Burks.
As a result of Rachel’s background and experience, the Porcupine PR team bases its methods of communication on the principles of good journalism, combined with commercial common sense - hence the strapline: ‘Profit from PR’.
“Don't be afraid of ideas that are contrary to present practice. Most everyone who gets to the top gets there for doing something different.”
Arthur W. Page, the father of modern day PR, 1935.
