Name: Kate Reaney
Position: PR Manager
History: Kate, who graduated from Cardiff University in 2003 with a Communications degree, joined Porcupine PR in 2004 as a Graduate Trainee PR Consultant. During her time at Porcupine PR she has successfully completed internal training with the company and has also achieved National Council for the Training of Journalist (NCTJ) Preliminary qualifications. Kate was promoted to PR Manager in May, 2008. She oversees the running of the agency and deputises for the directors in their absence. She has sole responsibility for several national clients and has focused on national radio and television contacts, as well as having excellent national daily, trade and consumer journalist relationships.
Favourite joke: What did the cheese say when it looked in the mirror?...Halloumi.

Name: Sarah Johnstone
Position: Assistant PR Manager
History: Sarah graduated from University College Falmouth in 2007 with a 2.1 in BA Film Studies. Before attending university, Sarah studied for A Levels at Bridgwater College. She joined Porcupine PR in March 2008 as a Graduate Trainee PR Consultant. She has successfully completed rigorous training in-house, equivalent to the NCTJ preliminary qualifications, and has sole responsibility for some key national clients. Sarah has extensive contacts in the national consumer and trade press.
Favourite joke: There was an explosion at the French cheese factory... all that was left was de brie.
My ‘Famous Five’ dinner guests would be…Jack Dorsey, Kelly Jones, Miranda Hart, Rob Brydon and Stephen Fry.

 

 

Name: Ellie Clewlow
Position: PR Associate
History: Ellie originally joined the Porcupine PR team in 2004. She graduated from Leeds University in 2007 with a first class BSc in Sports Science and has worked for Sports Aid and Sport England. She first developed an interest in writing at the age of seven when she wrote a news in brief item for a regional newspaper. Ellie was responsible for writing the Sports Aid quarterly newsletter, which included news items and athlete stories.
Favourite joke: Why did the scarecrow get a Nobel Prize? Because he was outstanding in his field.
My ‘Famous Five’ dinner guests would be…Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, Donal MacIntyre, Jamie Oliver, J.K. Rowling and Lavinia Miloşovici.
