MEN LOOKING for love in 2018 are invited to one of two singles’ nights this month (January 2018) at The White Hart in Weston In Gordano.
The pub is hosting Singles Night Portishead for 25 to 55-year-olds in association with Two Crowns Event Management and although plenty of women have already signed up they still need more men.
Event organiser from Portishead-based Two Crowns Event Management, Pilar Amores said: “We’ve had lots of ladies interested in coming along and we now just need a few more men to register to help provide a really good mix. We’re offering two events, a beautiful venue, a programme of activities to help break the ice and drinks and nibbles too.
“How does it work? Attendees are invited to send us an email or to purchase their online ticket via http://bit.ly/2zkYxNI. They will then receive a short compatibility test and the details for the event. They will be allocated a day and time to attend, depending on their age group and test answers. Then all they have to do is enjoy a great night out with us!”
The Singles Night Portishead events take place on January 15 and 22 from 8pm. Tickets cost £14.99. The pub will be closed for the night for these private events.
The White Hart was taken on and renovated by Chris and Mike Yeatman in 2015 after it had been closed for two years.
The team wanted to create a unique experience for visitors and diners and have developed a unique, outside garden area that includes a large central tepee with fire pit, a rum shack and an open-air pizzeria kitchen.

“People can come along, enjoy a drink or Sunday lunch and enjoy Andy’s music. He has played for us many times over the years and always goes down a treat with our customers, so who better to help us beat the January blues.”
